What is really going on over there, and what the press is allowed to tell us are to different things. I cant say i beleive in war but i beleive we are over there to save the world from a already powerful terrorist army. Some say the war is over oil. That is true, but it is in fact to keep the oil from these terrorists not so america can have it. Imagine having a net worth in the billions. now give that lifestyle up to follow a religion that has you living in a cave some where in the mountians. That is what osama is doing, they believe we are the end of the world and we need to die. Keep hitler in mind he wanted us dead to start his 1000 year reign over the world. If one were to think we should not have fought to protect the world from hitler then we should just leave the middle east. Once the terrorist have control over the oil they will have a unending supply of money for anything. Anything that will destroy our freedom. Many innocent people will suffer from this battle and many will get rich, But that how all wars have been and will be until there is peace. This war is more important then anyone TV network or newspaper will let us know. And something big must be done over there soon. All the protesting and BS in congress is just giving the terrorist time to fully develop the Nuclear weapons they are working on, working on them to kill us.

listen to me, there is no war in Iraq! A war is when TWO armies are fighting. the USA are the bullies of the world. the ONLY reason they are in Iraq is to scaremonger the American public into thinking there is an enemy to be feared, when in reality it is the American Government itself who are trying to create a global society. The only way they can do this is by creating an enemy so the public will cry 'protect us!' This gives the US government the go ahead to take away all your civil liberties because 'we live in a dangerous world'. Yeah, thanks to you, you F.U.C.K.E.R.S, you armed the world in the first place.! People really need to waken up! 9/11, Kennedy, Lusitania etc etc all inside jobs! there is an agenda that everyday people are just too brainwashed to even begin to contemplate!

It may have had good intentions in the beginning. Unfortunatly we as Americans have a set of ethics that prevent us from fighting a war as our advisary does. In a war people are killed and things are broken. If the playing field is not equal or if one side is hampered one can only look to Iraq and see the results. Our troops are killed and injured when the very poeple they are trying to liberate will not stand up in arms to help themselves.

No. It was a bad idea, but we are Bush supporters, so we must stay the course and extend tours for the surge. Can't you see this is about OUR President Bush's LEGACY!?! That is far more important than soldiers or innocent Iraqis lives. We went in knowing there was a risk - you must pay the consequences. that is your place, accept it.

It was a bad idea because:

1. It's unwinnable.

2. It was based on lies and PNAC delusions without regard for the impact it would have on the lives of America and those who serve and their families.

3. It has been planned and implemented (miserably) by politicians who never saw a day in combat and really don't care about the men and women who serve, not by military experts.

If I was a greedy military contractor I'd LOVE THE WAR.....
But since I'm just a citizen who is more interested in stopping pointless death and destruction I am and always was against it...

I don't think it was a good idea because I don't care about the middle east or what happens to it.
