My dad was but my mum wasn't!I was raised only by my mum cause my parents are divorced and she let me do whatever I wanted(as long as it wasn't something bad)

not at all, my dad believed in letting his children learn and grow freely to a limit of course my mom believed in locking herself in her room with a box O' wine so she wasnt bothered unless we messed with the wine
