Clever girl asked if "Dear John" was code for something...

It is the common name for a break up letter that the soldiers in WWII got...

"Dear John, I found a guy here at home while you are overseas. So it is goodbye for you. Jane"

I never got one... thank goodness.

g-day!

No... I have written dear John in birthday cards and that? Does that count? (John is a family name, I have uncles, cousins, grandfathers, everyone is called John here - but not me, that would be wierd.)

Well, it was more of a Dear Jane letter, but yeah. It was quite pathetic. Anyone who doesnt have the gall to break up with me in person is just very pathetic to me.
