Yeah, she was on Larry King talking about she was for Obama, Larry ask why Obama twice and she stuttered around and said,"Oh, because I think he will make a good President'. HUH UH. Because he is black that is very reason and she thinks that she can just snap her fingers and get him elected. Everybody isn't watching her show and she will not make one bit of difference in his winning the Presidency.

Oprah is a very powerful woman. She is probably one of the most powerful women in the world. I don't think race has anything to do with why she is supporting Obama. I wouldn't be caught dead watching her show but if you haven't noticed her major audience is middle aged white women. I don't believe Oprah has racist motivations or intents. Also, Oprah has been friends with Hillary Clinton for years.

It doesn't make me go hmmm at all. Oprah is very much into the betterment of the black race. I would have been shocked if she did not endorse an intelligent black man like Barack Obama.

No, it doesn't. If her only agenda were getting a black person elected she could have thrown her weight behind Sharpton in the past, for instance. I think she's a bit more discerning and intelligent than to make a decision like that simply because Obama is black.

Hmmmmm

Darn that Oprah exercising her Constitutional rights. She did endorse "Dr. Phil" and got him anointed to his own show. Hmmmmm

Oh, she does give people new homes and vehicles and many of them are not of her ethnicity. Hmmmm

Obama is a better choice than Hillary. Anyone is a better choice than Hillary. Hmmmmm

To me it really doesn't.I have several African American online friends and frankly most of them will tell you racism against them is still a big problem while most white Americans seem blissfully ignorant of this situation and a big part of them even question if they aren't the victims of racism by programs like affirmative action.

There seem to be two separate realities and in that light I can understand Oprah would make this choice

What are you saying? Oprah's a racist? How dare you? Don't you know that Oprah is the Queen of people who don't work and sit on the couch watching TV all day?

She is racist against whites. It is obvious even though she does it stealthily, but she is so powerful with her money and all. I bet they take your question down. I answered another one today about Oprah and Jews and whites, and I was going to look to see if it got any more responses, and I couldn't find it.

No. Why should her right to endorse who she chooses have anything to do with me? Oh so you think because he's black and she's black and blah blah blah. So what.
