NO! Not all of us. I'm sure that some of us had it harder than others but, who doesn't grow up with racist ignorance? I knew I was both black and white and never suffered because I didn't fit in. I fit in with everyone as long as they are not stupid racists. I am mixed. I belong with everyone. And I am accepted by most people. I couldn't care less about the bigots that don't accept me. They don't matter!

Yes. I'm mixed, and yea, I do tend to have identity crisis. I mean, it's bothering being both, because you go to normal school (where like 3/4 of the people are caucasian) and they treat you as an asian person, and I go to japanese school (once a week) and they treat me like I'm caucasian. I think it's best if i could just learn to embrace my race as it is, but I still can't quite get myself to do so.

I would hope not..

If a child is loved and taught by both parents his heritage then the child will have the knowledge he needs to grow up to be a decent human being..

I truly believe people put too much emphasis on race/color etc.. are we not all humans?

The rule I live by.. is this..
Nothing matters but the heart inside the person.. be it whatever they are..

Only if they are raised the wrong way. Kids are a product of their upbringing, and need taught to explore their diversity. What a wonderful thing to have two distinct backgrounds.

i don't think that's true. most parents make sure their children are aware of both histories. maybe they actually have it better. they don't have to worry about belonging to a specific group. they're just people.
