Apocalypse Now. It's easily Francis Ford Coppala's best movie (better than The Godfathers) and highly underrated. So many good performances from everybody involved (Martin Sheen, Robert Duvall, Marlon Brando, Dennis Hopper)

I absolutely loved Lord of the Rings: Return of the King. The sheer scale and epic level of it all is worth the 13 Oscars. It had mind-blowing battle scenes (like the battle of Pelennor Fields, where the mumakil i.e. giant elephants battled the Rohan horsemen). The siege of Gondor was also fantastic.

The ending was also touching, those two poor souls went to the end of the world to destroy the One Ring. The acting was phenomenal all around, the musical score was fantastic, and the special-effects were thoroughly convincing and eye-popping.

I really can't praise that movie more. My only regret is that I didn't see it on an IMAX screen.

I love the movie Halloween. A lot of people think it's crazy, but to me, it was such an amazing movie. The only one I can watch over and over and not get tired of. Every time I watch it, as soon as that theme song starts playing, I'm wrapped in and completely into the film. There is no other film, in my opinion, in which the soundtrack so perfectly complements the happenings on screen. The original boogey-man cannot be beat. It's so simple and low budget yet it never loses its power.

The Notebook.

OMG! I cry for the last 10 minutes of the movie EVERYTIME. Never gets old. Those two are so good together in the film. Wouldn't it be great if everyone could find that special soul mate like that?

My favorite movie would have to be bridge over the river kwai. It is a old old movie that not many people my age have heard of. This is my favorite movie because the characters and story line is so drawing and interesting.

Lord of the Rings or the X-Men trilogies. Movies are great, but when they continue making them, it just adds so much depth to the characters. I love watching these two because I just never lose interest in them. There is always something new I notice...

Fantastic Voyage. It won Oscars for sound, it's a science fiction/cold war story that still holds up after a generation. The special effects are great. And speaking of holding up, who wouldn't want to be one of those antibodies clinging to Raquel Welch?
