Depending on the type of passion though. Love is passionate, sex is passionate, but lust is a monster in disguise though. Here are the reasons for my answers though:-
* Love - A deep, tender, ineffable feeling of affection and solicitude toward a person, such as that arising from kinship, recognition of attractive qualities, or a sense of underlying oneness.
* Sex - A feeling of intense desire and attraction toward a person with whom one is disposed to make a pair; the emotion of sex and romance.
* Lust - To have an intense or obsessive desire, especially one that is sexual.

Not as much as I'd like. I try though as much as I can. Although passion can be found also outside the arena of sex. You can have a passion for a hobby or some other thing or activity.

you don't know from passion if you have to ask that question. you can't be consumed by passion 'often enough' because that thing is leaving you drained for a loooooong time.
