It's infuriating because most of the time it's a break in for something really stupid that isn't important and definitely is not urgent. When hurling meteors threaten to end humanity, by all means interrupt my show, but don't interrupt to tell me some celeb and their significant other are on the outs. That's effing ridiculous!!

It doesn't bother me. 99% of what's on TV is crap until some news story breaks... unless it's something like "So-and-so has just announced they are running for president," then in that case yeah, it pisses me off too.
