Since when did liberals care about such things as being best qualified? The only reason he hasn't trotted out Affirmative Action already is because his main opponent is a woman (I think) and that cancels out his being black. In the real world, to any who are thought full, experience is a big consideration when seeking promotion. Liberals don't live in reality, they believe that everything would be just peachy keen if we just let the government make all our decisions for us. So in his world, his reality, A person ho has not even served a full term as a senator is qualified to hold the most powerful office in the free world.

Based on what George W. Bush has done to this country, is he qualified as a president? Who murdered over 3,000, and still counting, of our soldiers and over half a million innocent Iraqi civilians to fulfill a lie? Who should be tried for committing war crime in the International Court?

Obama doesn't have a lot of experience in federal politics, that's true. But in Washington, experience and corruption seem to go hand in hand. I'd rather have honest inexperience than experienced corruption any day.

"No person except a natural born citizen, or a citizen of the United States, at the time of the adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the office of President; neither shall any person be eligible to that office who shall not have attained to the age of thirty five years, and been fourteen Years a resident within the United States."
Now, who told you he wasn't qualified? The Constitution says he is. I suppose you want experience? Like what? Running another country first?
Get over it.

Well, there are a lot of people who support him, so I guess it's not that obvious. And I feel there are candidates on the right that are much less qualified.

he's been a politician longer than bush was before he was elected and bush got elected twice...and you now see what happens when unqualified people get the job.
to john h- according to you corky is qualified to run should we vote for him? wait im sorry we already did twice and you see how that turned out.
to rtanys- absolutely yes.id rather vote for someone who has absolutely no experience in politics but was honest than a career politician who knows nothing but how to lie to further his career.

Assuming he isn't qualified, why would that stop him? George W. Bush wasn't qualified either and he got elected twice.
