That Michigan fans should take for telling us how great their team was at the beginning of the season, now that they've lost to Appalachian State and are getting blown out by Oregon?
Oh hell no.

Some circumstances require constant punishment, for as long as the perpetrator lives and one day after they die. Crimes against children, (right there on the top of 'my' list.) Crimes against persons because they choose to live differently,?Why?? Crimes that are racially motivated, hate crimes, crimes against the elderly and handicapped, crimes against women, crimes against hard working people(trying to get their share of the dream), white collar crimes, that leave poor people poorer, the effects of these crimes will last a lifetime on the victims. So the punishment. should last equally as long on the criminal.
I also believe that our justice system is way to slow. The scales have never been balanced.
