because their eyes mainly look strait ahead most of the time and no offense, to blind people but it lookes kinda odd when a person is blind and their eyes r open, so they wear sunglasses, sometimes even just to cover their eyes so people don't really stare at them

Most blind people use them so that you can't see their eyes (because of cataracts or varied eye movements, I'm guessing). My mom, who's legally blind (meaning she can see, but only slightly), wears dark glasses because the bright light outside makes it harder for her to see when she goes inside.

They dont choose human beings seeing them looking each and every which a fashion. while your blind it extremely is not undemanding to maintain your eyes concentrated commonly. Blind human beings dont choose human beings feeing sorry for them. by ability of putting dark colours on, it eliminates the concern.

well, it is usually to hide their eyes. Some blind people's eyes are not normal-looking, so they conceal them with sunglasses.
So they don't get picked on or made fun of, or look scary.
i personally think they should try stunner shades. =]

Their eyes are not 'whacky', but they do have a lot of random eye movements, because their eyes don't focus. Many people find this distracting, so they cover their eyes.

So people won't see them under their sunglasses..If I was blind.I wouldn't want people 2 look how my eyes are gonna look!

probably the answer is above, about seeing the eyes, but i think there's an element of blocking certain sun rays, etc...not sure though...

well for one its mean how some ppl are answering this question i mean come one wat if it happend to u?!!
well anyways to answer the ? its because although they may not be able to see some still have some sort of vision and some might be sensitive to light so the darkenss of the glasses will help them with their sensitivity to light
and some might be self consiouncious about their apperance even thoug they might not know how they look they still have their minds and might have an idea of wat their apperance might be.

They want their eyes hidden, because sometimes their eyes look different and they don't want anyone staring.
