No... that isn't checkmate. enable's not overlook the final election. Celebrities paraded from everywhere for the the Democratic candidacy of Senator Kerry and what replaced into the consequence? The Republicans nonetheless gained the election. This election season is basically beginning and is plenty from over. call me cynical, yet I additionally could desire to trust the solutions of a few others and say that i'm afraid that this help that Oprah is putting in the back of Obama is an argument of race. I don' t think of that that's accident that Oprah is putting her help in the back of the 1st considerable black contender for president, while she could have come out for the different contender interior the previous. the place there's a checkmate is that no information employer or different presidential contender will voice this concern out of shock that they are going to be categorised racist, even even with the undeniable fact that race and Oprah's help for that very reason is an argument.

I agree with Lizzy-Tish. If Obama doesn't make it as the democratic choice for the primary then Hilary should make him her VP. I don't think Oprah cares that he's black, he's the best candidate. Too bad there are still a lot of people who can't see that. Plus Oprah doesn't too much support people just because they're black anyways. She's more so a women's lib

Why are people saying Obama is black and not white?
Not only is he half white but raise by the white side of the family, I'd say that makes him white.
I would say Oprah is smart enough to support someone for their beliefs not color.

Usually Oprah isn't too fast to say she supports what presidential candidates, but I think she likes the fact that Obama is different from most of the other candidates. He's more 'hopeful'. I don't think his being black has alot to do with it , but if it does , who cares, she's entitled to feel that way.
I saw him back at the Dem convention in 04 and I was blown away with him and his audacity of hope speech. I'm not even American . I like that he may be transitional, he may not make president this year but if Hilary had brains she'd make him her vp because he's a good wind of change like Kennedy was in the sixties.

Oprah has ever right to support who she wants .
Probably no matter what the reason you would always have some that would disagree , just because of her fame.

She thinks he's the best canidate. I think she likes Hillery too but won't pick her b/c she's not a intimadating man. I like him myself not only for all of his qualifations but also b/c he's intimadating.
Also the Oprah does have a brain u know she weren't just pick a person just for what he or she looks like.
