When is enough enough?
People, most of us didn't create this Capitalist system.
Most of us are doing our best to stay afloat.
Why are we allowing the Capitalists to use our men and women of our armed forces to bring through aggression Capitalism to the countries of the world who want to have a different system???
Their accomplishments will not help yours or mine situation what-so-ever!
Are you willing to subjugate or enslave the people of other countries to possibly own a home or an SUV or some small sense of a false security???

well... that's trillions in profit...first off...
but after you really get past a couple of million... it's not about the money anymore... it's about the power and about how you can leverage it...
it's like a game... they don't even view it as "real money" the way 90 percent of America would... it's really a status symbol... not a tool to help people or help yourself...
now NOT ALL wealthy people view money this way... but it seems to be the vast majority... and a couple of bill gate's and warren buffets aren't enough to equal out the equation when you have 100s of others that don't do their share...
and this isn't really an "America" thing... it's always been the same all through history in every society... even in the communist ones... it's about power and greed... basic human flaws...

I was born in poverty. I didn't get my first pair of shoes until I started school. I studied and worked hard all of my adult life. My electric bill last month was $850. I can afford to pay it (although not very happy -- looking for ways to conserve and cut back). My responsibility is to teach you how to acquire your own wealth and privilege. It IS NOT my responsibility to give you any of what I've earned. Capitalism promotes just about every good quality life has to offer. Socialism on the other hand, enslaves the masses to a destitute existence in which they know not how to fend for themselves nor are they willing to help their neighbors. A classic example of this can be found in New Orleans AFTER hurricane Katrina. Those dependent upon their government for their daily handouts (existence) were left behind. They did not know what to do. They began stealing and killing.
Per ABC News 20/20, the working poor give the most to charity, then the wealthy followed closely by the conservative Christians. Know who gave the least and second least? The least award goes to those on Welfare. The second least goes to the democrats. They believe it is the job of the government to take care of their every need and not up to the individual. I suspect this is just an excuse so they don't have to own responsibility for their ineffectual lives and still hoard all of their money.

Speak for your socialist self. I am a capitalist and I help create more of it. I am a mason and I sell my skills and goods.Others sell me there goods in the form of tools and materials. Together we build the homes and buildings that shelter America.
Those soldiers volunteered and they are protecting the interests and the future of this country. You on the other hand are a detriment to it.
We subjugate and enslave none.

Profits have gotten a bit ridiculous over the years, but what goes up must come down. In '29 they were jumping out of office building windows. Can't wait to see them offing themselves like flies this next time.

You sure know how to put the major problems of the world on a cracker.
The whole picture is a dirty one, but I don't think the voters in this country can get together to change it. I know our President wants Democracy in Iraq and it's the dumbest idea ever. They don't want it, they don't need it.
We deal with Kings and Premiers all the time, why did Iraq need to be changed. Probably because Saddam made G. Bush Sr. look stupid as he is.

Whatever a person says is enough. You have no right to tell someone that they make too much money. Too bad that whiney liberals are jealous.
You can make as much as you want if you apply yourself.
It is sad how bitter and jealous you are.

Its a very difficult question to answer since a lot is in speculation. I don't really think its the money for those on top of the food chain but more the sense of godhood and able to manipulate.

Under the new guidelines this would be a rant, and not a very good one IMHO. But I will let it go at that. I hate people who hit me for violations and will not do it to you. But, seriously, you need to lighten up.
