I played with lawn darts. The good metal kind that little kids used to kill each other with. Yeah, growing up the '80s was fun.

I had a doll named Peggy. I still have her. She's the old school type of doll with the cloth body and the plastic limbs and face, including the opening and closing eyes. When I was really small, I messed up her hair, and we were living in Australia, and they had a doll hospital, so she went for a short stay. They shaved her head and gave her a wig. I never allowed my mom to affix the wig to Peggy's head in any way. It still just comes right off when you pull on it.
I had a lot of clothing and stuff for her when I was little. About ten years ago, my mom made me some more clothing for her and for two other dolls I have. I love them all, but I love Peggy the best. We always traveled a lot, and Peggy went with me on the plane. I have her put away, but when I get her out, the very first thing I do is hug her. I adore that doll.

My sister had a baby doll so I wanted one. When I got one I proceeded to fill every possible orifice on it with a little wad of clay. I have no idea why.
Noor of moon: Thank you for coming on here and sharing that bit of insight into your childhood with us. Very thought provoking.
Eek: I'm sure your dog loved that. You do know that a dog is so loyal it would die for its owner? But in the case of your dog he went above and beyond.

My dog Mike. He loved to be dressed up in doll clothes and pushed around in an old baby buggy.
