In a way she cares because of all the explicit language..But in a way she doesnt care because she knows I'm not gonna go out and shoot somebody, pick up a hoe, smoke weed, or anything else they rap about

My mother doesn't care. She just says "Man thats too much cussing". She only likes old school hip-hop or Conscious rap out now.

She use to care, but told me she can't stop me from listening. But just don't repeat the words I hear.

mine does. I'm forbidden to listen to it. Well... I can if I want, but she gives me the whole cold - shoulder thing and scolds me if I happen to listen to at least one. So I stick with hard rock.
