Please someone tell me if i should use "the" before browser when i'm trying to say
1) Please close (the) browser

Also which of the following is correct, if both in what scenarios

1)you have to restart server every night(General sense)
2)you have to restart the server every night(General sense )

Yes, you have to use "the" before "browser." And the second sentence is correct.

Since browser is not a human, nor animal you say the so your answer is Please close the browser. Now, since it is your browser then you can also say Please close your browser. Which ever you choose is alright.

For the question here is the answer:
You have to restart the server everynight.
Also:
You have to restart your server everynight. But basicaly the first one is the correct.

Proper English dictates the use of the article "the" in each example.
OR
...in each of THE examples given.

use the word 'the' before the subject in both sentences
