I want to have a style of my own. I want people to like it. Any tips?

1] only buy what looks good on you
2] buy what flatters YOUR figure and YOUR coloring
3] don't stick to one store - check them out online, and go to ones that look interesting
4] shop Goodwill, Salvation Army and other thrift shops - you will find great vintage pieces if you check periodically, and neckties to be used as belts or head bands
5] pick one item to invest in - say, belts - and collect all different types, materials, and colors - like crochet, lace, velvet, embroidered, concha belt, etc.
6] don't listen to anyone who answered this question

the first answers is VERY good.
make sure the clothing fits you. Find a store that you like and start from their.
I don't really recommend this, but if your mature enough to look at fashion magazines and not get carried away with the famous faces and stick thin ppl, you can look at them to get some inspiration. Remember, fashion is about symmetry for the body through clothing, and nothing else.

Wow. Did you even READ what you just asked? If you want a style of your own, how are WE going to help you with that? And no matter what you wear, there is always going to be someone who doesn't like what you're wearing.

Find unique clothing from thrift shops or make your own clothes. You can also turn old clothes into new clothes by cutting, sewing,etc. Just type in DIY fashion in google.

Well first find clothes that fit you like a glove, figure out what cuts look great on you. Go from there.
