Why are "cleaning product commercials" represented by happy and cheery women?

I mean really, even when promoting a toilet bowl cleaner!! Isn't that kind of "odd"??

I clean mine, but find it less than amusing!

It's all about the power of advertising and persuasion (lol). But you're right, it is pretty ridiculous. I have yet to meet someone who enjoys cleaning that damn much...

It is kind of odd but they're paid to act happy.

haha!cause they never do any cleaning!!
oh,and how "happy"they are to wash the dishes!!hehe!!
