my car gets 7L per 100km what is that in Miles per gallon

It depends whether you are talking UK or US gallons...

For UK gallons the conversion factor is 1 km/L = 2.824 miles/gallon
For US gallons the conversion factor is 1 km/L = 2.390 miles/gallon

To get L/km we have 7L at 100 km so you get 100/7 km for each L = 14.3 km/L

Then multiply by your conversion factor for miles/gallon

= 40.3 miles/gallon (UK)
= 34.1 miles/gallon (US)

one liter is 0.2641721 gallons
one kilometer is 0.6213712 miles

7L = 1.8492037 gallons
100km = 62.13712 miles

Divide.

33.60209 miles per gallon

1 liter = 0.264172051 US gallons
1 kilometer = 0.621371192 miles
7 liters = 1.85 US gallons
100 km = 62.14 miles
So you are getting 62.14 miles pe 1.85 gallons = 33.6 mpg
