yes he was a Christian who went into a trance and knew many things.an amazing person.Edgar Cayce healed many people, thru knowing what herbs and treatments to have people take.one of his herbal remedy's cured my mother of an illness.I myself am an herbalist and will pray over herbs to know what ones to mix together to give to people for there illness's i don't charge as he didn't charge.

edgar cacey was a see-er.
however, the future isn't set in stone. i could predict with tarot cards that something will happen to you, but if you make different choices, that outcome won't happen.

No, but I have heard of Edgar Cayce. He performed some remarkable feats which are not readily explainable but much of his written stuff has already been shown to be wrong.

He was more like a psychic who would under hypnosis found remedies to cure illness's and was believed to communicate with the other side.

He was a very interesting guy. All his prophecies are purely esoteric, though, so I wouldn't hang my faith on anything he said. (There are certainly plenty of people trying not to make a "profit" off of his books.)
