"la isla bonita " by Madonna, and LA BAMBA . both came out when i was still in primary school, we used to sing these 2 songs in the changing rooms, at swimming pool. and also tried to dance to the MADONNA song. ahahaha:))

I was about & when Culture Club came on to the scene & remembering I didnt know Boy George was a man or a woman!!

I was 12 and it was the first time my friend and I were allowed to go to the annual funfair on our own. The song was played loudly on the rides.
Always reminds me of happy, optimistic times.

Morningtown Ride by The Seekers. Saturday morning radio show Childrens Favorites with Ed Stewart, always played it.
I sing it to my Grandaughter now and she hates it !
