Why dose internet explorer keep closing me down every time I am closing down my computer?

also now when I try to open my Virgin media E mail it closes me down, my other E Mails are ok

I'm sorry, I don't quiet understand your question. If you are closing down your computer, why of course your Internet Explorer would close too. You can't shut off your computer without closing every open program too.

Wait, unless you mean you are closing the lid of a notebook computer? Is that what you mean? If it is, somebody else will need to respond because I haven't used a notebook computer as yet. Sorry I didn't think of that before I clicked to answer this.

If this is not what you mean then you may well have some sort of malware on your system. I reccomend you run a full system scan to ensure that is not the case. If your program comes up with any malware, let it do what it can to clean up the infection.

If any infection is left which your security program can't seem to handle you can either go to a Online forum which helps users clean up after malware, such as an HijackThis forum, (just type HijackThis into a browser and several forums will appear which you can check out and then register with one whch suites you and ask for assistance. The people work for free and will walk you through your issue, if you have one). If you would rather not work on a infection issue yourself, then take your system to a reputable repair shop and allow somebody with experinace clean it up for you. Try to avoid the "big box" companies as the smaller ones give more personal attention to the issue and usually have more time to explain things to customers.
