Can I get pregnant a day before or after ovulation?

I would like to know when my husband and I could have sex and become pregnant. My cycle began today (9-8-07) and I pretty much ovulate on the 19th. When should we start trying a day before or after ovulation? Thanks

You can get pregnant at any time.

You can start trying a couple of days before ovulation. The sperm can live like 3 days inside of the woman's body. Good luck.
