According to the transcript, bin Laden says there are two ways to end the war:
"The first is from our side, and it is to continue to escalate the killing and fighting against you."

The second is to do away with the American democratic system of government. "It has now become clear to you and the entire world the impotence of the democratic system and how it plays with the interests of the peoples and their blood by sacrificing soldiers and populations to achieve the interests of the major corporations."

He goes on to call Noam Chomsky "among one of the most capable of those from your own side," and mentions global warming and "the Kyoto accord."

He also speaks to recent issues grabbing headlines in the United States, referring to "the reeling of many of you under the burden of interest-related debts, insane taxes and real estate mortgages; global warming and its woes..."

In closely examining his type of government if Sadam Hussian was an example of the right kind of government.
We would have to set up torture chambers for anyone who wasn't Islamic. which he did say we all had to convert to Islam. In reading the news every day 12 more was blown up today in this peaceful all islamic country.
He has no reality of the USA at all. Nor did his friend Khalid Sheikh Mohammed who master minded the 9/11 terriorist attack against the USA in 1996
His papers said "If we blow up the World Trade Center with two planes and bring it down commence will stop not just for the USA but in the entire free world. they will not be able to buy or sell so much as a pencil." Then one into the White house all their leaders will be gone. Then one into the pedagon their ability to retialiate is over. We will be able with a few men to walk in and take over without a fight.
Most of them don't have guns or know how to use them."
Was that reality? Has he ever been to Texas?
Most have a small arsnal of deer hunting rifles and hand guns.
Not to mention military bases scattered all over the country and air fields and those few muslims in New York came out with a few rifles ready to fight and take over the country.
They all ended up in Abu Grave in chains. They were the ones who didn't get a shot off.
So yes they do have a very limited knowledge of how things works here. But they believe God has given them the world and they will not stop until you stop that religion and those religious clerics who foster the wars.

Yes he does. By using the talking points of the left he is sure that the democrate party will be energized. To many on the left Noam Chomsky is a hero, Kyoto is a good thing, and global warming is real, Osama does try an engage the right with his comment on taxes, but he has to realize that only those on the left would be serious about abandoning democracy

I'd say you are a Democrat and your views tend to be liberal. Your views sound very much like Obama's. I support Obama because the change he speaks of does not come from him; it comes from us. In a real democracy the government doesn't think for the people. Obama represents a change in perception and priority, not just change in policy. We tend to demonize politicians. Both McCain and Obama are worthy of respect. The sky won't fall no matter which of these men win, but our country is less free, less stable, and less respected now than it has ever been. We cannot continue on our present course and survive as a nation. It's that serious.

The tape is a fake. It probably was made by either the C.I.A. or The Israeli Secret Police. Bin Laden is probably dead.
This tape came out at a very convenient time for Bush to say, "See, I told you so! Now, you Democrats need to stop insisting on getting the troops home and trust me completely to know what is best."

The way each side goes at each other publicly...an infant from a 3rd world country could understand it...each side breaks it down on the other side and then posts it everywhere...whats not to understand? Then there is the libs screaming everyone has the right to know EVERYTHING happening with the war...it's a joke...a sick joke at that...

At the very least he understands the nature of Americans to fight amongst themselves according to party lines...

He understands enough to play to the party whose hero he referenced - Noam Chomsky - a Democrat hero. He obviously feels that his odds are better with more Democrats in power.

Smoky, that tape and ALL "Bin Laden" tapes since Dec. 2001 are FAKES, as Osama bin Laden is DEAD, and has been dead since Dec. 2001. Both Osama and Saddam were bosom buddies of the Bushies, and were used as official "boogeymen" to advance their fake "war on terror."
For the truth about Osama and the tapes, see the links below.

Oh Hell No.

The useful idiots are trying to portray Republicans as paranoid regards the 'Muslim' threat...

...And Bin Laden comes out with "Convert to Islam or else"

He isn't completely clueless, but he's no Russian.

Sadly, I believe he understands the politics involved here better than the politicians.

Just as sad - the politicians here do not understand Bin Laden and how his organzation functions. Had this administration listened and thought first, we would not be in this mess.
