depends on the artwork. i would have to like it of course. and it would have to be of the same value as what i was owed. so i guess i might. it would also depend on what i was being paid for. there are some things that only cash will cover.

well actually we did once. we accepted aqn alabaster sculptur of a roman legionaire driving a team of horses . It is a magnificent piece of work and worth about $1500.00 and the job was $1000

YES! Some of my best art was payment. I have some folk art that is spectacular and one sculpture that's my favorite piece ever. I don't care how I acquire art, but I must have it.
