This morning I acted on an impulse and decided to shave my balls, and the area between my crack and my balls. Let's just say it was a BIG mistake. I didn't do a very good job and have a lot of sharp stubble on the sides of my balls as well as beneath them. I haven't been comfortable since I shaved them. The only time I'm at ease is if I find one position to sit in for awhile. I haven't done anything today because the itch is unbearable.

I can't walk like normal, I have to walk like I have a stick up my you-know-what to keep it from itching/hurting. I've been putting Aveeno moisturizing lotion on the area but it doesn't seem to have done much help.

Anyone know if this is the sharp stubble from the far-from-perfect shave, or what? More importantly, anyone know any quick fixes? I need to get rid of this itch. It's horrible. I can't stand it much longer.

I've decided I don't want continue shaving down there. Should I still redo it? Wouldn't that just make it a longer time until it grows out again.

Would Gold Bond or any other lotion help?

When you cut off te ends of your hair, the tips are blunt and wire-like instead of the soft, tapered tips of hair that has had some wear. So what you did was to in essence put a wire brush in the most sensitive part of your body. There's no real cure for it except to let it grow out and never do anything like that again. I've heard that aloe vera gel (sold for sunburn) helps some with the itch, and wearing briefs instead of boxers might be a bit more comfortable.

The main thing is to learn from experience and not make the same mistake again. Good luck. Oh, and by the way, never ask a woman to do that either -- it itches just as bad for a girl as for a guy.

Put a small piece of material between where the skin rubs together, like a cloth, make it small so you wont have to worry someone seeing a buldge from behind! As for the stubble, give it 24 hrs or so and it should have grown just enough to not be uncomfotable.

I know you may not like this but you should go back and do it right this time with a new razor and take your time. Do it in a hot shower using a shaving oil instead of foam or gel. It is not a race, take time to do it right.

gold bond worked for me....as well when washing to use really hot water to open up the pores and a non irritating soap and drying it really well.
