I live in California but am moving to Florida. A college class that I want to get over there starts on October 3 but my mom doesnt understand that I need to be there at least one week before so that I can start my education...please someone help me. She is waiting for her job to finish, but I tell her for us just to leave. She doesnt listen to me. I really want to start college because I feel like a low-life since all my friends are already going to college. How can I make her understand?

Call the school and find out what needs to be done before Oct. 3rd. Try to complete anything that needs to be done.
If you cant, then show your mom what needs to be done and why you need to be there sooner.
Your mom feels obligated to her job to finish and leave on good terms. She had to give them notice, right?
I know your education is important too. So just keep on talking to her.. Is there anyway you could go a week ahead of her?
