Are you able to take money out of a debit card even if you have none in it? Can it just change into one of your debts?

no...debit is the cash you have in it already. sort of like a savings account but you can take money out of it a coplue times a month. you wouldn't be able to take money out of savings account if you didn't save any...same with a debit card. if you do buy something and it goes through, believe me you will be charged overdraft fees that cost waaaaaay more than the actual charge... $35 and up...trust me, i've learned so much from overdraft fees

Uh, no, a debit card withdraws money that you have in an account. Sometimes it's possible that a small amount would go through even though you didn't have that much in the account - you'd be charged a fee if that happened.

unless you have overdraft protection from your bank or a credit card attached to you debit card you do not have the option of withdrawing money when you do not have that money in your account. Many banks will , however, give you overdraft protection ( ususally up to 500 dollars) so that when you are short on cash you can witdraw some, but it usually costs you a fee and interest.

your bank account must have a balance if you intend to use a debit card. Unless your account has overdraft. This is a debit card not a credit card.
