(girls) how do you organize your makeup?

(if you have any). i just have mine all stuffed in a little red tote, and half of it is all powdery because i use powder foundation, ha!

makeup cases seem a bit pricey but i would like something where i could store the brushes i have tho..

I got this metal case at walmart for about $13, I think. Though I don't put my brushes in it ( I have a little seperate case for those), it works really good. I know exactly what you're talking about 'cuz I use powder foundation too!

I have a bunch of little matching cases that I store in a box. One has lip products (gloss), another face products (foundation), another eye products (eyeliner), and the last one (and biggest) general skin products, such as body lotion. When I'm going out, I grab a small, seperate case to put in my purse, and stock it with the makeup I'll be using for the day for touch-ups. When I get home, I empty it out and re-distribute the makeup into it's proper place.

I put mine on shelves in my room, four little ones for gloss, eye, face, and lipstick. Not bad huh? I like the shelves because I can see all the colors and not have a problem with using the same stuff every day.
I use mineral makeup which is pretty cheap so I have tons.

you can get a really good makeup case from target, walmart or kmart. you dont want to carry all your makeup around when you are out and about. i usually take shadow, power and lip gloss for touchups throughout the day. otherwise at home i have a caboodle and also a mary kay organizer, it has 5 compartments. i separate my shadows, lipsticks and glosses.

Well I have my own makeup desk with a big mirror in my room and I keep my eyeliner, mascara, brow pencil, eyeshadow, lip gloss, blush, and foundation their all together so that they don't get lost. It takes really fast for me to put on my makeup with having all those things there.

I put all my lipsticks together, powder foundations together-with brushes, and eye shadow and utensils together.

Each of these is in a clear plastic soft container that is see through.

I hadn´t been organized since I started doing this, so it works for me!

I bought myself a train case from e.l.f. cosmetics. It has two sections, an upper one for brushes and a big mirror on the inside lid, then the lower portion is larger for all your make up with a clear pouch on the inside of that lid for your tools. It was only 11.00 I think....it's really great and pretty too!

I have a storage shelf with drawers in my closet. I put my makeup in the top drawer. Other ways to organise your makeup is to get sectioned boxes or transparant jewellery boxes with compartments.

3] tackle box [ fishing ] - both come in somr cute colors, and hold a lot!
4] tool box
I put all the eye stuff in one area, then group into shadows, liners, mascaras, by colors. Then all the skin stuff [ blush, powder, concealer ]; then all the lip colors - red/orange/rust/gold/peach/bronze.

try getting big makeup case or bag and use other smaller bags for different things ( if you have a lot of makeup)
like get a bag for all your brushes, one for all your liners, one for all your lip glosses and lipsticks, one for all your blush, one for your eyeshadows, and one for all your face products (foundation, powder, etc)
