Maybe, but "Ask not what you can do for mud people ask what you can do for the master race" doesn't quite equate now does it?

Yes, probably, but the countries are very, very different. The country, by extension, in JFK's speech meant the Government of the people by the people and for the People limited by a constitution. He was referring to a debt all Americans should be willing to pay. That said, Most Americans are forced to pay way too much. Sill, it's what we elected our Representatives to do. We have no one to blame but ourselves

Yes, it was plagiarism.

It was word for word copy of of a speech by a British government official, that had been given some years before.
Hitler also gave similar speeches.

Also his "Profiles in Courage" was written by ghost writers, just like Bill & Hillary's books.

But he was the first President to give the country Tax Cuts.
(And that's more important than being a phony about other things.)

Well, the 'give it all for your country' speech is pretty standard fare for politicians.

Most rational humans know you should damn well ask what your country can do for you.

stop taking things that are true of Bush and attributing them to famous democrats... it's really lame.
