I thought that only hamsters had wheels, or maybe rats too!

Maybe it's time to own up and pay from your own pocket. If you f****d it, then pay for it. To save embarrassment get the same model.
Maybe your school has a log-in and can detect who is disconnecting which periphery. As far as I know no mouse has a programme.
I think it would be the better part of valour to admit that you had stolen, felt regret, and offer to pay. That'll get you more Brownie points than sneaking around and performing subterfuge (look it up!).
You might even get some respect and/or learn about computers!
(Next time steal the towers! NNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNoooo, only joking!

Craig this is your IT teacher speaking. We thought you were a thieving little Herbert so made it so the mouse would ONLY work on school pc's. If you return it on Monday, if not the school equipment is all marked AND because the so many seem to steal the mouse, we also fitted them with tracking devices. When you plugged it in , it WILL send back your IP address to the schools network..

We know you took it, we want it back..

Serves you right!A mouse is cheap enough to buy so why go to the bother of nicking one!

You should'nt have stolen the mouse.....

I got a mouse for £2.20 from Tesco... it has a wheel and does the job... why not just buy one ?

....also it would be wise to take the mouse back to school.

You are very, very sad - how much does a new, legal mouse cost? You don't deserve a computer.
