Because Queen HRC served on the board of directors for 6 years while she was first lady of AK.
According to press accounts, she was a "show horse" at the company meetings when Sam Walton bused in cheering crowds to celebrate his non-union empire. Supposedly, she was placed in charge of the company's "green" program.
Sam Walton and his family did get MUCH GREENER (in the libs point of view that would be at the EXPENSE of the non-unionized worker). During most of the '80s, he was judged the richest man in America by Forbes magazine; his fortune zoomed into the billions. It's no surprise that Hillary is a strong supporter of free trade with China. Wal-Mart is the single largest U.S. importer, and half of its imports come from China.
So to sum it up: Typical Liberal Hypocrisy.
Also adding, didn't Michelle Obama serve on the board of directors of one of Wal-Marts leading suppliers as well?

They are NOT in the same league. Wal-Mart is a truly horrible company. They go into small towns all over America, and temporarily reduce prices to near nothing just to put all other businesses out of business. Then, when the area was completely depressed economically, because all the local businesses have closed down they leave. They've left ghost towns all over the place. Also, they are horrible to their employees. They pay nothing and provide no benefits. The taxpayer ends up paying the living expenses of Wal-Mart employees -- many quality for food-stamps; they get no health care. That's picked up by the taxpayer. They bribe local officials to approve their stores, and require the local government to build roads and parking lots for THEM. Thus, a store depletes the local government of its tax money. (Yes, it's true those who accept bribes are wrong; but by the time the damage is done, the town is screwed. They have a huge store no one really wanted, the money to make the roads and parking lots is gone, and all their local businesses are going to be bankrupt.) They're unfair to their women employees -- which is why there's a class action suit against them. They pay them less; they don't promote qualified women. So you're wrong about the only difference between the two. Wal-Mart is out to destroy the country; CostCo just gives members a bargain. Watch the movie made about WalMart -- there's probably even more.

Oh that horrible place Wal-Mart! A place where Hillary was a member of the board. It brings good products at cheap prices to people who do not have the fruits of multimillion dollar law practices to pay for their prejudices - like John Edwards.

When Walmart built there first store in our town, the trade unions got all the muscle from Chicago and other places. We had a nice little mini-riot with a fair amount of damage. Many of the local Union guys knew us Police and were shouting about American made products while they took photos of us with their Nikons from theirJapanese import cars. Said they'd never shop there.
See them there all the time now but the riots were long ago. Still, nice to see them chow down on their words when I see them buying from there.

I have seen many people with "Kerry/Edwards '04" bumper stickers at Wal-Mart.
EDIT - And why can't he go to Wal Mart, pick out the PS3, and wait in line? You know, like a regular American.

Yes. Not only do they shop there, they also invest in Wal-Mart. Example: Hillary Clinton.

Damn it Chef, you had to go Mega Lo Mart?
Perhaps it's an imbalance of lithium or some variety of DeVivo affliction in the blood-brain barrier that causes such 'lapses' in libs.
I'm thinking it's just plain ol' hypocrisy.
After all, libs are the only group that truly cares about mankind.
Just look at how they treat minorities:
"Since you were you born with that particular pigmentation, nature hasn't granted you the innate intellectual capacity to succeed in our society. Let us guide you."

Saying you never shop at Wal-Mart is like saying you never eat at McDonalds.
99% are lying.
And if they shop at Target, or K-Mart, or Home Depot, or Lowes, or Dollar General, or Mega Lo Mart, or any grocery store or fast food joint, they are still supporting the same crap.
