I want to sell my lyrics to other myspace artists. How do I go about doing this and how much should I charge? Also, do I need to have a copyright on them before I sell them?

It will cost about $50 to register at the Library of Congress, so let that be a guide as to what you should charge for use. They are copyrighted when you wrote them in fixed form, however you should get a registration, for the same reason you record the deed to your home at the court house. Without a registration, people may think your lyrics are a give away and you might see them posted with someone elses name for the credit.
