CLOTHES:
1] no preschool Tshirts or hairdos.
2] wear clothes that fit, not tight or baggy.
3] wear grownup shoes - either heels, or peep toe, or strappy sandals, or sling back [ no kitties or rainbows,etc. ]
4] all clothes should be whole, or fitted and hemmed properly
[ no puddle pants, camel toes, whale tails, headlights, muffin tops, brastraps, etc.]
HAIR:
1] get a grown up style that you can arrange differently - don't wear ponytails or a braid every day, and headbands are not sexy.
2] invest in some quality hair accessories - large tortoise clip, leather, smaller CV barettes, etc.
MAKEUP:
1] wear some makeup when out in public - most need at least mascara, blush, and lip color or gloss
2] for work or school, wear natural colors - in liner and mascara - brown, brown-black, or black, depending on how dark your hair is.
3] save brighter, darker, or glittery stuff for clubs and parties
4] adjust color and brightness of blush/lips depending on what you are wearing.
EX: if you are dressed all in black, with only a bit of colors in accessories - you'd look better in a bright color, like rose vs. pink, and red vs. peach.
If you are wearing bright red, don't match lips to that color - go for a vivid neutral, like caramel or bronze.
JEWELRY:
invest in grownup pieces like classic hoops, chandeliers, chains, bangles, cuffs in your best precious metal - gold or silver.
Avoid plastic.
Gemstones [ diamonds, emeralds, rubies, sapphires ],and semiprecious [ amethyst, aquamarine, garnet, peridot, topaz ], and 'soft' stones [ pearls, onyx, jade, coral, turquoise ]stones always work.

really accentuate your eyes by using eye liner and strong colour on your eye lids don't over do it use greens, golds, even a little black can look sexy if applied correctly avoid using pinks and purples they can make you look quiet babyish try not to wear your hair in a bobble either straighten it and use some serum to make it look super sleek and shiny or use your straighteners to put some loose curls in and hold in place with some hairspray team jeans and a sexy top with a chunky belt and some costume jewelry it's really cheap in the likes of new look and river island and don't forget the clutch bag looks great with any outfit you can achieve a sexy look that will really suit you if you try and it doesn't have to cost the earth pick up some magazines and check out the latest fashion and they usually give great make up tips to just remember don't over do it on the make up less is more and just accentuate either eyes or lips never both at the same time hope this helped Kay :0)

Preach is son! I know in my case I ask if something looks good on me or if I look good because half the time I can't tell if something looks hideous on me or not. I always used to get picked on when I was younger as well because i grew up in an area where everybody was blonde haired and blue eyed, and I'm italian with extremely dark features so I stuck out! The popular girls tore me apart and I coudln't STAND to look at myself in the mirror. Yuck, dark, dark times. But then again, those girls were just trying to make themselves more secure, and they're the kinds of people fishing for compliments. heh.

I dont know about other guys but I like it when they dont were to much make up but wit some mascara thats sexy an if u got sexy lips then lipstick would be a plus. just like you.. im always getting cute instead of hot or sexy. for a long time it really bothered me. i stopped wearing braids, wore eyeliner, lowcut shirts.. etc. i was so tired of being the cute 16 - year - old. i wanted more attention in the sexy department. but it wasn't me.. i get enough attention from the boys as the cute one, and i'm fine with it now. sexy is over rated anyways, and it often gets mistaken as trashy. don't try to hard to be something your not. be cute, be YOU!
