those are the rules at my school at least. we have many stupid ones though. do you think that i could wear hoodies still?

I would check with guidance or admin [ principal ] before wearing one - try hooded sweats, and sweaters; either pullover, zip, or button [ I always wore layers, because I got cold.]

I think a hoodie may be considered a sweatshirt type clothing.
You may think this rule is stupid and has no point, but today people never know what emotionally disturbed child is going to carry under the coat they wear. Almost all of the school shooters wore big coats so they could hide their gun as they came into school.

yes, most likely you can still wear hoodies. my school has the same rule, no jackets or coats. but half of my school wears hoodies all the time. it shouldn't be a problem.

hoodies are not considered jackets, I used to wear them all the time in school, never got in trouble. they are more of a sweat shirt type sports wear. In the beginning of the year schools tend to be stricter so give it a couple months and then very few teachers will care.

Yeah. I think the point of the (admittedly stupid) rule is to prevent people from wearing outdoor clothing indoors. A hoodie is generally considered part of an outfit, so it should be allowed

I think so. A hoodie is more a sweater and less a coat. Or tell your teachers to turn on the heaters more.

sweety just be real simple and get a thin but warm hoodie, dont wear the hat part on your head and you should be fine. And i'm sure they wont say a thing but if your hoodie is big and bulky they may ask you to remove it.

At my old school they bull shited alot about dress code, U couldnt put yo hoodie over yo head, this is H town though, it may be different were u stay.

Well we cant wear are winter coats indoors either but we can wear hoodies so prbbly.
