Consecutive numbers are numbers that come directly after the other. For example, starting from 10, the next five consecutive number would be 11, 12, 13, 14, and 15. If you start at 100, the next seven consecutive numbers would be 101, 102, 103, 104,105, 106, and 107.

The answer to your question is quite simple:

First eight consecutive numbers are:
1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8

Now add them:
1+2+3+4+5+6+7+8
ans. 36

The sum of the first n consecutive numbers is calculated with this formula: (n * (n+1))/2 so the sum of the first 8 consecutive numbers is 8 * (8+1) / 2 = 36

You should be able to do this

Add 1 + 2 + 3 + 4 + 5 + 6 + 7 + 8 - that is what is being asked

36

1+2 = 3
3+3 = 6
6+4 = 10
10+5 = 15
15+6 = 21
21+7 = 28
28+8 = 36

260 = 5n + 5(n+a million) + 5(n+2) + 5(n+4) + 5(n+5) + 5(n+6) + 5(n+7) 260 = 5(n + n + a million + n + 2 + n + 3 + n + 4 + n + 5 + n + 6 + n + 7) 260 = 5(8n + 28) fifty two = 8n + 28 24 = 8n 3 = n so, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 40 5, 50

Okay, this really is not too difficult if you understand the math terminology.

Sum means adding up numbers
consecutive means one right after another

So,
the first 8 consecutive numbers are 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8
Now add these up and that is your answer.

your question is not clear but i will solve it in all possibilities
in all cases they are arethmatic sequences
Sn= n[2a +(n-1)d]/2 or Sn= n(a + l)/2
1) 0,1,2.......... 7 ,S8 = 8(0+7)/2 =28 (natural numbers)
2) 1,2 ,3 .........8 ,S8 = 8(1+8)/2 =36 (counting numbers)
3) 0,2,4,6,8,10,12,14 ,then S8= 8(0+14)/2=56(even numbers)
4) 1,3,5,7,9,11,13,15 ,then S8= 8(1+15)/2= 64(odd numbers)
