i have a DREAM to play pro baseball for the yankees (i play second base) lately my hitting is SUCKING..a lot of pop ups and fouls. i've NEVER hit a homerun i just dont have a lot of power but doesn ANYONE have any motivational quotes to keep me going? when i strike out i get SO mad at myself..it infurietes me!! please someone give me some quotes. THANKS

i actually USED to pitch, but switched to second cause i wanted to bat..id pitch the knucklecurve, curve, fast, and i was working on my changeup..the fastest i threw was 58 MPH though.

C mon simply,,, get your head in the game....Keep that elbow in and your eye on the ball...look for your pitch....wait on it,,, when the ball starts to rise in the last few feet ....let it go by....focus on the BALL...try to slow it down with your mind as it approaches.... this will take some time so dont get hard on yourself...get in as many swings as you can in the cages...

The Yankees have plenty of hitters but they can use some good pitching. Get that arm in shape and see if you can come up with a curve ball, who knows!!

You don't need alot of power to be a great hitter. Ichiro is a singles machine and one of the best hitters today. My advice is dont try to hit HRs. Make contact and swing level, grounders and line drives will find holes.
