We do have an amazing amount of help offered to poor Americans, although I realize it often isn't enough. There are very few job opportunities in Africa, therefore, no source of income. They do not practice birth control and the population continues to grow. Personally, I think it's an unsolvable situtation, but we must do what we can for those in need, here and abroad.

Upon what are you basing this question? Total American foreign aid amounts to about 0.1% of Gross Domestic Product (GDP). That's one-tenth of one percent of GDP, putting the US behind 21 other developed nations. And that 0.1% is for the whole world, not just Africa. Do you really think that any Americans, poor or otherwise, get less than that?

While it is truly ridiculous that so many Americans, who live in the richest country in the history of the world, live below the poverty line, most poor Americans still live better than many of the people in the rest of the world.

So I ask you again, where are your figures that show that Africans get "more resources" than poor Americans? Or is it just that you imagine that is the case?

You're confused.

Large corporations CLAIMING to provide benefits to Africans get big $$ checks from government, and provide whatever they see fit while pocketing the money.

Nobody poor gets anything in the end, unfortunately.
