I'm happy, butt I couldn't be described as perky as you are.
I feel they (you and others) don't have much to hide about if anything.
Butt, they've got to come down at some time or another.
I had a friend that waz very perky and gregarious at work ~+~ just smiled and joked ~+~ everybody waz his friend BUTT when he got home he had to unwind and took it out on his family. (sad)
So unfair .............................

they annoy me. They act positive about almost everything and it takes the p!ss. It's okay for a person to be perky at times, i find that cool. But all the time is just annoying! i agree with the first person. XD same difference perky is irritating

I've wondered this before myself. I think they may be naturaly perky and like to be happy but may have something they are hiding too. Or just try to be nice and perky even though they may not be feeling that way.

It really depends on the person; I know some people that are genuinely happy 24/7 - which is kind of annoying, I'll admit - and then there are people that have a genuine problem.

I know my friend hides something be hind her smile. I do too sometimes, but you can usually tell when I'm genuinely happy.

Everyone has something to hide. I don't believe it makes someone more or less perky.
