i get cut off all the time, anyone else have problems with them or anyother ISP

I'm with BT. It's a bit more expensive but I've never had any problems. Maybe you shouldn't be such a skinflint? Remember the lines are owned by them

You blame it on the ISP. Have you discussed this with them? Are you sure the problem is not on your side of the modem and if so, how are you so sure?
I suggest you first contact the ISP and work with them to resolve the problem - this fixes things rather than maintains the problem.

"Its probably your provider. They are experiencing a lot of traffic and their network can only cope with so much. Change providers. I had the same problem with Orange, but as soon as I changed providers, I never got disconnected again".
