I'm thinking about writing my own perfect emo song that has a lot of emotion, feeling, and power. It's going to be like a poem with a rhythm. My emo song, or series of songs, should have the same emotion, feeling, and power as music from such bands as Fall Out Boy, My Chemical Romance, Panic! At The Disco, and Taking Back Sunday. Plus, it should carry a lot of meaning.
I have a series of questions here: How can I write the perfect emo song? Can you tell what to include when I write the song? Should I listen to already-made emo songs before writing my own?
I welcome tips, tips, and more tips on how I can write the perfect emo song, poem, or whatever you call it.

I like to write songs; I feel very passionately about music. I also love the bands that seem to inspire you, especially My Chem, who were brilliant live in Manchester, UK, in March.
Anyway, when I right a song, I have to be in the right mood. It sounds like you are to be honest. Then just let it come straight from the heart. Write about real life experiences, problems in your life etc. And yes, do listen to 'already-made' songs. They're very good for inspiration/rhythmic patterns.

look dude. this is perfect. fall down dead rotten skull cafe nevermore under the stars whatever just get a thesaurus works better and i don't think those two bands are emo. MCR is violent rock or plain rock. demolition lovers is nice tho. Goodluck.hope to see you soon perform. awww.

write the song on what you feel. listen to some songs like gotta go my own way, thats emo read some poems. when your writing listen to this song. ( moonlight sonata by bethoven.) good luck express yourself
