you said honestly so here goes:
Hispanics are the main target of descrimination at the present moment.
make no mistake that I say this because i'm white, my daughter is hispanic, her father is quite well-off, and he's in a well-to-do family.
so obviously i'm not rascist.
with all of the talk about the border etc. they are definantly the most talked about! The African American's are also descrimintating against Hispanics, sad I know,
bottom line is this:
IF YOU LIVE IN AMERICA , YOU'RE FAMILY HAS COME OVER FROM ANOTHER COUNTRY!
maybe they came over on a ship 200 yrs. ago, but everyone in America comes from somewhere else!
THAT IS WHY AMERICA IS CALLED THE MELTING POT!
**IF EVERYONE CAN JUST LOOK PAST COLOR , WE COULD ACCEPT EACH OTHER FOR WHO WE ARE INSIDE** after all, that is what really counts!
wow, I know i'm going to get hate mail for this!

I'm of Hispanic back ground as well and right now due to the situation with illegal immigrants Hispanics are getting a bad reputation and are being discriminated a lot as well.

i can't speak on a national level, but here in the south, it's the hispanics that are discriminated against more. they get robbed all the time by people from the black community and are forced to live in sub-standard housing by all the white property owners, it's really saddens me, but i see it everyday. i don't get because IMO, they are the hardest working and family oriented people i've observed. they have my utmost respect. i can say there are alot of good farmers around here, that take good care of their workers. they provide them w/ housing and medical, transportation, and pay them a decent wage.

thats a good question btw..
im white but dating a half hispanic
and i deff agree.. my boyfriends dad (who's hispanic) owns one of the most successful architecture firms in dallas and just sold it to a company in nyc..
so i really think that the ones who do come over illeagally are giving the ones who did what they were soppose to the right way a bad image..
people are individuals though.. not their race...
not all black ppl are their stereotype either.. its just that the one's who stick out more are..
and not all white people are stuck up..
okaa. lol. im done : )
