I am buying a new laptop, and all they have anymore is Vista, and I was wondering if my mobile broadband card from Sprint, which is a Pantech PX-500 is compatible with Vista? A little help?

If you can't find the driver there is a good chance that Vista can. Just plug in the card when your notebook arrive and see what happens. Everything I've plugged into my notebook so far I havent had to use an install CD. You might need to install an Application if one is need to interface with your broadband card, but you shouldnt need to install drivers.

If it doesnt have the drivers or doesnt find them online for you, then I would go to Sprints website and check for a new driver. At last resort try a Windows XP version, which comes with the card.

You may need a driver for it that is different than the one for XP; check with Sprint and get the driver from them if such is needed.
