There is no defined default setting.

You need to match the pc's network card configuration to the the router wireless configuration (match the encryption, preshare key, MAC validation, etc)

I think what you are trying to ask is if there is anyway to have your network card start up and connect to your wireless network by default. The answer is yes, if you create the profile and provide all of the necessary information to the card (SSID, keys, etc). I know that the Linksys Wireless Manager that comes with the cards has the ability to create a "Default" profile that it will attempt to connect with every time is starts. You can also setup/edit the network settings in Windows Wireless Networking to move certain profiles up or down in the list and to set them to Automatic or Manual connections. Good Luck.

If you've messed with it and screwed something up, then uninstall and reinstall it. Your computer should retain all the drivers, but make sure you have them just in case. To uninstall, right click on my computer and go to manage. From there go to device manager and find network devices. Then right click your wireless card and click uninstall. There's a little blue button up top to find new devices. After the uninstall click that. It will find the wireless card and start installing. Like I said, it SHOULD retain the drivers and automatically install. If not, you just have to put the cd in the cd-rom. It will then be set to defaults. :)

I don't really understand this question, but if you're saying that you need the default settings for the network card, I suggest reinstalling the drivers for it.

Good luck!
