On the news this morning they said that flip-flops are really hard on your feet and can give you chronic foot pains! I am a really norotic person so I'm not wearing flip-flops anymore, but I only have two pairs of shoes, flip-flops and sneakers, so what shoes do I get because I can't wear sneakers with everything!

Please, no comment on why I only have two pairs of shoes, I'm sensitive about that. :-(

Try some ballet flats, burk-style shoes. Um, sandals...i have some from Wal-Mart (Faded Glory) that I love! I have a pair of shoes from Payless that are absolutely awesome (see source). Just look at Payless and see what kind of things they have. Their shoes are my favorites.

You'll need to buy more shoes. A nice supportive pair of sneakers ( not those flat type fashion ones) like Skechers and a really good pair of casual shoes such a Eastlands if you're going to wear them for any length of time. The other types are fine if you're only wearing them for a few hours and never wear the same pair of shoes ALL of the time its not good for your feet or your back. You should always change shoes at least once a day. Also, if you exercise you'll need a separate pair for that as well.

I'm from Hawaii and because of the weather it is hard to wear sneakers with everything. Try going to a surf shop and check out the flip flops "slippers" there. The have a arch support that will help out. For women shoes it is hard to find something that goes with your outfits and is good to your feet. Just keep trying them on and walk around the place as if you are going to town. That way you can make sure it will stand to the pressure.

How about getting a pair of flats. They're cute and comfy. Also, flip flops have aways never had any support, I mean come on, they've always been really thin.

Hope this helps!

if you're an avid flip-flop lover and you're worried about them giving you foot pains. The only reason they probably do is because they don't have arch support. Try getting a pair of Rainbows, they mold to your feet & give them support
