Yes, I do. My only problem is I can't work up the nerve to be alone in front of an audience.

Well...I don't like to brag but...yes I do believe that I have an exceptional voice. I have been singing since I was 7. Like many black females, I began in church (and stayed) even though I had a wide span of a career in the entertainment business. I sang lead in several groups, did professional background singing for such artsts as Annie Lennox, Chaka Khan, Rick James, Dollie Parton; performed in many places and on television. I believe my voice is a gift and I use it to serve, minister and be a blessing to others.

I sing badly, I mean very badly.

I did once write and perform a parody country and western song "Your leaving me has left me tone deaf"

Other than that I've been told my singing is so bad that I make Rugby songs sound crude and ugly.

My voice was educated until my teen years, then I stopped...then restarted on my twenty's..but I do not recommend this to anybody... I was a soprano and between the inconsistency and not taking care of my chords.. I can't hit the higher notes anymore....end of my singing story...

Cheers

Apparently not well enough to join a barbershop quartet...so I stick to singing for myself!
But at work I just whistle.
