I prefer the 'Haunted Prison' in Mansfield, Ohio...it's the same prison where Shawshank Redemption was filmed.

Yes, I really like haunted houses. I would like to visit the "Haunted prison" perhaps this halloween. But, I only like haunted houses around Halloween. The ones around Christmas are way too scary!!! With all the gingerbread and candy all over them.........ok, now I've scared myself. lol

If you mean commercial haunted houses, I used to enjoy going to them not so long ago, but in the last few years, they have lost their appeal to me. These are the ones that are usually done by non-profit groups to raise money, and although they are well done, I don't care to be visit them anymore. However, their sole tactic for "scaring" people seems to rely on fake blood and gore scenes, and who needs that with all the real violence? New Orleans has plenty of haunted houses and ghost tales, most of them true. I haven't ever witnessed anything weird myself, but I have heard stories from people who have had eerie experiences while vacationing in New Orleans, and some from New Orleans residents.

I've heard that place is AWESOME! I was just telling a friend of mine about it-- he's from Springfield, OH, and if you can believe it, he didn't know they do a haunted prison thing there for Halloween!

I don't like haunted houses at all! Halloween is not my most favorite time of the year. I don't like being scared. :)

No I do not celebrate Halloween or anything that would give glory to the Devil. I am a Christian and as such I do not give place to the Devil, or his days.

Love them and they're fun to work in too! I got my head cut off bu a guillotine (sp?) and it was a BLAST!
