Im 13 years old, and my mom thinks that its a bad influence, i got her to a point that shell prob buy it, but is there anything REALLY bad???

The game is not bad, unless you have some serious issues telling the difference between what you can do in video-games and what you can do in real life. The point in video-games, like other media such as movies and books, are to put you in a different situation giving you an interesting experience. Your parents should recognize that you know the difference between how to act in real life and how to act in video-games. Plus, the only real reason they don't want you to get involved in these types of video-games and/or movies, is they don't want you to get exposed to alternate views of things they are hesitant of telling you the truth about (killing, sex, drugs, etc.). As long as you understand the truth about the things that are glorified in different views than the truth in such media, I think you have every right to access such media.

yea there is a lot of things that are really bad from grand theft auto. it has nudity and sex. it also has blood and gore. it has range of violence. it also has guns like rifles and m64 handguns. it also has use of drugs. gangs are in it.
you are 13 and i guess you can take it. but, your mom wont believe that you can take it.
example: i was playing grand theft auto at my cousins. their mom came saw the nudity part. she took off my cousin's PS2 and grounded him. my mom found out and took all my grand theft auto games.
the same thing can happen to you.

It's a great game but yes, it is a bad influence. If you aren't some dumb kid who will do anything that they see in movies are video games then go ahead and get it.

It depends on you. If you get influenced easily then you should wait a few years. But I sense that by asking this question you'll be okay.
It's just a game where you can run around and do violent things... but the key word is game.

u should wait 2-3 years because the whole thing has violence, sex, nudity, drugs, bad words, and many more
its better in 2-3 years because u can not be addictided to sex or other if u wait

honestly, its just a crappy game, all you get to do is say " i got to cuss in a game and steal cars" Its only fun for new games or 13 y/o's
The games is lousy. there are far better games as far as driving and shooters. they will hone your hand eye coordination and improve reflexes.
GTA will only teach you bad words that you already know.

Other than him saying about all the cuss words, killing people and cops and gangs, nothing at all that is bad. I have it and it is fun and i got it when I was 14 so you should get it!

I would say the worse thing is drugs... But your a teenager i think you can handle it. Just don't get any crazy idea's about doing it in real life.
