I just want to know if this will work. I have a wireless router in one side of my house but it does not reach the other side of the house. What I want to know is if I could get another wireless router, plug it into the wall plug, than would it pick up signals from the other router giving me wifi in more parts of my house.

depends on the router, you have to get something called a wireless repeater.

No you need a wireless range extender.

I think there is such a thing as a wireless extender that you can purchase to extend your signal.

buy a range expander. then it will get to the other side of the house.
