The Ancient Egyptians believed that all of Egypt belonged to the gods, and that the pharaoh (ruler) was the representative of the gods.
They believed in many gods (polytheism).
They had a form of writing called hieroglyph.
The pyramids were built as tombs for the pharaohs.

Although Ancient Egyptians are portrayed as having dark skin (nowadays), it was actually a sign of royalty to have very pale skin, because it meant that they were never out in the sun doing manual labor. That's why its believed that the royal family was pale. To achieve this look, they would sometimes use a skin whitening mixture.

Yes, it is home to the most ancient mystery on Earth, a mystery which has not yet been revealed. :O) A mystery which has little or nothing to do with Pharoahs. A "hidden" mystery greater than any of the Pharoahs gold, tombs or treasures so far discovered.

Most of the Pharaohs were of Greek linage.
When a pharaoh was interned in his tomb most of his entourage went with him.
Flooding of the Nile valley is natural phenomenon and is actively encouraged .
Olives found in some tombs have still been edible after a thousand years.

When mummified the eyeball was replaced with an onion
They didn't know what in the world the brain was so they removed it when mummifying
with a hot poker through the nostrils :/
